Pam gives out her personal phone number and is available 24/7 for patients and families. She is truly devoted to her role.
Pam embodies the compassionate care that is conveyed in what it means to be a DAISY Award Honoree. Pam goes above and beyond for every patient and family. She is the first to stand up and go into action mode if someone is frustrated or has concerns. She is also the first to celebrate wins and help with the small wins that patients have or special days while inpatient.
Pam gives out her personal phone number and is available 24/7 for patients and families. She is truly devoted to her role. She is continually mentioned on Press Ganey surveys for how appreciative patients and families are for her expertise and compassion while they are going through a difficult time. Pam can truly do it all. I walk around, and I see the connections she has with so many patients in families. She does it effortlessly. She wants everyone to succeed and have a great experience at Brooks Rehabilitation. Although she is a leader, there are days when she is side by side with our nurses and doing hands-on patient care for most of her day. This type of commitment to patients is not learned but is truly a gift she was born with. She will always make sure our success stories are celebrated with a tunnel of love.
Pam has an incredible talent for providing compassionate leadership. She is able to turn any service recovery situation around because of her ability to demonstrate empathy and active listening. Pam never hesitates to go see or call a teammate or family member. She provides timely follow-up and models the way for all of us. Pam can prove to every patient and family that they are the only one who matters in that moment. Thank you, Pam for all that you do. We can learn much from you.
