Savannah was quick to respond in a time of distress and made sure to get all hands on deck to handle the situation.
Savannah was amazing during my labor and delivery. She truly made the experience so much better. She encouraged me the whole way through pushing and the entire process. My delivery turned complicated after we realized my newborn was born with her umbilical cord around her neck, and she had just defecated on the way out as well, so she had ingested or breathed in some meconium.

Savannah was quick to respond in a time of distress and made sure to get all hands on deck to handle the situation. The Doctor was not in the room when all this happened, but I really am appreciative of how quickly Savannah responded to the situation. She helped me to the bathroom when all was sort of said and done, and they had taken my baby to the NICU. You can imagine what a mess that was, seeing all these bodily fluids around, and she didn’t even flinch. I just thought to myself that it takes a special person to be this compassionate. She even made sure to get updates from the NICU for us and made sure that as soon as we were able to, I could see my baby.

Even when we got moved to the mother and baby unit, and it was probably time for her to go home, she stopped by again just to wish us the best and make sure we were taken care of. I honestly wanted to give her the biggest hug but didn’t want to be weird. Savannah, I can’t thank you enough for aiding me through this new experience in my life. You made it easier and even when it was tough you stuck it out. Thank you is not even enough!
