Mrs. Wanda is an integral part of the team. She daily demonstrates excellence in nursing with every patient encounter. She takes pride in her work, and it shows in her patients. She is the kindest and sweetest lady to everyone she encounters. She makes the little moments count by talking to her patients and their families. She helps make our hospital better. She is an amazing preceptor and co-worker, taking the time to teach and help those around her.

Recently, we had some difficult and critical patients. She not only cared for her own patients but simultaneously precepted a nurse and helped with the other patients in the department. My patients and I would not have had such a good shift if it were not for her help. During a recent emergency, she was the calm and levelheaded team member who helped make what the patient needed in a timely manner. She is always a reasonable and responsible nurse. When there is a difficult dynamic, we always seek out her opinion when things are sticky. She is a great voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
