Riley was my labor & delivery nurse while I was in the hospital delivering my baby. I was induced & she was my day shift nurse during labor. She made sure I was comfortable, always asked if I needed anything, and overall helped make sure that I was getting the best birth experience. She helped me while my epidural was being placed and also helped put me in different positions to help move the labor process along after my water was broken. She was amazing while I was laboring down and really helped me understand what good pushes are and how to achieve them. After I delivered and was able to get up, she got me to the bathroom, made sure I had everything I needed postpartum-wise, started my shower & made sure I was okay during it. When she knew I was okay, she went and changed my bed out for me so I had a more comfortable place for the rest of our stay. She even came and checked on us the next day during her shift even though she wasn’t our nurse anymore just to make sure we were still doing okay. I have heard so many horror stories of births & I am forever grateful that Riley was there to bring my baby into the world and make it such a memorable experience. Any person would be lucky to have her as their nurse during labor!
