Grenda Harper has been outstanding. My husband and I feel very special to have met her and to be on the floor where she is the Charge Nurse. As a Charge Nurse, she wears many hats. She is a leader, she manages the care of all the patients, and if she detects complications, she corrects them. She works with the Nurses, Nursing support, and Doctors. Grenda did not just assist the teams servicing my husband, at times, she attended to him personally. She treated him as if he was one of her family members that she loved dearly. She was very patient, loving, and kind to him. She checked on him regularly and gave him words of encouragement and lifted his spirit (mentally). Grenda constantly went above and beyond what was needed and expected. It was a joy for her to enter his room and he looked forward to talking to her. She explained everything in detail and to his understanding. She informed him there were no stupid questions and she wanted him well informed. If she ever needed to check on something to give him an answer, which was rare, she responded as soon as possible. Because of the love shown to my husband by Grenda and the others on her team, he wanted to rehab there. He said he felt close to them and especially Grenda. Grenda is first rate, highly unusual, provides exceptional one-on-one service, and is remarkable.
