Lacy is probably an angel to countless people out there.
I was being prepped for knee replacement surgery, my nurse could not place an IV. I am used to this as I have difficult veins combined with not being able to drink water before my procedure. My nurse was nice and tried several times in various places with no success. She went to see if Lacy could come try to get an IV on me. Lacy had it the first time with no pain. I asked her if it would be possible for me to find out my blood type as it had been years since I knew it, and I had forgotten. She said it would be a little while, but she would write it down so she wouldn’t forget, and she would get it to me. Before I left, she came in and told me my blood type. She sat down to chat with me for a while, asking me how my surgery went, etc. When my husband came in and saw Lacy, he said, "LACY!" He told me that she was the angel who came in and placed his IV when no one else could get it (my husband is a super baby about an IV). Lacy is probably an angel to countless people out there. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to recognize her.
