Stacey went out of her way to care for my husband while he was in crisis from the moment she was assigned to his care. She was comforting, attentive, and dedicated to treating him as though he were her own family member.  She shared her own personal story with us and empathized with endless compassion.  When his condition worsened, she advocated for him to be moved to the ICU and saw him through every step of the way.  She followed up on him multiple times after he was transferred and even went as far as to come in on her day off to share support for his family.  Stacey deserves The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses due to her outstanding patient care, exemplary family relation skills, and consistent positive attitude while we were in distress.  She is the definition of going beyond the call of duty.
