I was in a very sad mindset during my stay. I was also in horrific pain with pancreatitis. Any time Miss Gloria came into my room, she made me laugh, got to know me, and was never judgmental! She really treated me as if I were one of her own and just made me feel so comfortable. She went out of her way to constantly check on me. I always thought every knock on the door would be housekeeping or blood work team but it was always her! She was on time with all of my medications on the DOT when they were due. She was so quick I don’t think I had to use my call light once! Truly one of the best hospital experiences. It’s been about a year since I’ve seen her, but the way she treated me and her name have stuck in my head ever since! Truly a nurse to look up to. Thank you, Gloria, for all your kind words and laughter you gave me.
