Eli is a leader, a team player, and a strength in any department where humanity, professionalism, and care matter.
Eli is a wonderful nurse. His joy in his job, enthusiasm for Kaiser, ability to cheer a whole unit, expressions of kindness, wit, and a hearty laugh at just the right moments are a few things I noticed even before he was assigned. As my mom's assigned nurse, he was a perfect balance of sociable and professional. He was attentive and thorough while also giving plenty of space for rest. I was most impressed, rather I was most touched, by his efforts after he was no longer assigned to my mom.
As we were trying to get ready to leave the hospital, he noticed there was no one to help us. He respectfully asked my mom if she wouldn't mind if he helped her change while I got the car. Then, he professionally went to get a wheelchair for her and brought her to the car himself. I appreciate Eli for helping us feel so confident in our care. Eli is a leader, a team player, and a strength in any department where humanity, professionalism, and care matter. My mom is still talking about his joyful laugh. Thank you.
