My husband is a new patient on this floor; the diagnosis happened quickly, and things have moved fast. We felt completely frightened and lost; Jacqueline was the second nurse we met. She was a plethora of helpful information; she took her time explaining everything. My husband was taken for more testing, and she was there to calm my nerves.

My husband and I have two young daughters, and as much as I want to be here by his side through treatment every day, I have to be there for our girls as well. Jackie calmed my nerves (as I was emotional) and assured me he was going to receive the absolute best care and that I could contact her any time for updates if I was unable to be there. The next morning, she left a beautiful note to let me know, mother to mother, I was doing a great job! That gesture brought me to tears, and I will not forget it because, in that moment, it was more than kind words. She provided above and beyond care! We are looking forward to her next shift with us.
