I came in, not expecting to get admitted by any means. Austin was my second nurse; I spent almost a full 24 hours in the hallway across from his desk. I missed my husband and four babies. I had never been away from my last and breastfeeding baby. Not only was he a nurse who clearly worked well with his patients, but he was also someone others loved to work with. He had several other things going on and yet always made time for my needs and even my silly requests, like a phone charger being plugged in. He truly went above and beyond. I was honestly disappointed to get my private room because it meant not having him as my nurse. He even came and checked on me the next day. Thank you, Austin, for being such a fun human to be around. I'm so grateful for your kindness. Thank you for being a bright spot in my time.
