Guy is an exceptional nurse. He goes above and beyond to make not only the patient's life as pleasant as possible but also the family's. I genuinely believe that he cares about people. Life would be so much better if they had his attitude. I am thankful that he cared for my husband. We were stranded in Fort Smith because my husband got sick while attending our younger son's graduation from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. The day after my husband was admitted here, our sons had to return to South Oklahoma. Our home is 3 1/2 hours away.

While trying to figure out logistics, Guy offered suggestions like non-emergency transportation. Because I was without my prescriptions and on foot, Guy suggested seeing the pharmacist at this facility who helped in the situation. Guy talked to my husband's doctor about whether it was possible for him to stay overnight so we could facilitate getting a ride home. The day was getting very late, and it was possible the release would not happen until the next day because labs needed to result and be appropriate. I do have to say that I have been amazed at how wonderful all the staff has been during my husband's stay. I so appreciate you all.
