My dad had surgery, and from the moment we got to the third floor, Amanda was welcoming and spoke to my dad in a calm voice like they had been friends forever. She went through my dad's history very thoroughly, and my dad didn't understand a lot of what she was asking. She would go into a very detailed description as to why he was prescribed a medication and what it was for, and she helped him to figure out if he had been taking the medications or not. She spent over 45 minutes with my dad, updating his history so that nothing was missed. She was very respectful, gentle, and knowledgeable. Amanda Latham's hard work and compassion are not something we need to avoid. She is one of the best nurses we have ever encountered.
