Jesse wasn't our assigned nurse, but when he heard my wife in distress, he was quick to see if he could be of any help. She was truly struggling, fresh out of the ICU, uncomfortable and scared. He was kind and patient, spoke to her, explained to her where he needed to touch her, and got her taken care of. His help was needed and appreciated. He even came back to check on her later after we'd been acquainted with our assigned nurse. To go out of his way was more than we could have asked for. We spent Christmas in the hospital, my wife's first surgery, first complications, first sickness. The kindness that was extended that day helped ease the anxiety for the days to come.
