The only person I was looking for was Audra and she was right there with me and grabbed my hand!
I came into the hospital because I passed out after more tests being done. I was told I could get a stent put in my bladder to relieve the pressure of my kidney stones and the baby resting on it. I was waiting to go back for the procedure and the doctor came in and spoke about some discomfort I might have, and then left the room. After that, Audra came in and introduced herself, sat down at my bedside, and talked with me. Audra told me that she has personally had stents placed and told me about her experience, the good and the bad. This made me feel less fearful, and I felt as if I knew what to expect after talking with Audra.

I loved that she asked if I was informed of what I was about to go through and took the time to come talk with me and explain everything in detail. Audra stayed with me during my procedure and held my hand in the procedure room, which gave me comfort because she knew I was scared. After the surgery was over and I started waking up, I was scared. The only person I was looking for was Audra and she was right there with me and grabbed my hand! When I got back to my room, she came back and checked on me, and she didn't have to do that. I have never had someone like that in a hospital stay...ever. I cannot thank her enough for what she did. I honestly don't know if I could have done it without her. You have an amazing RN. She made a difference, and we need so many more people like her!
