Jasmine has demonstrated numerous events of compassion, restraint, and therapeutic communication with patients in her care. She consistently presents reality in a therapeutic milieu allowing her patients to grow. Jasmine was recently Charge Nurse during a Code Gray and led the team with exceptional skill. No team member or patients were hurt which led to a positive outcome. Jasmine consistently excels in her position as Charge Nurse.

From Jasmine’s Co-Worker:
• Jasmine is a great nurse to work with. She takes ownership of her job duties and cares for patients as if they were her family members. Her calming voice helps in the most chaotic moments. Jasmine is a great example of the best in Nursing.
• Jasmine shows up every day ready to give her best to the patients on the unit, no matter what. She is dedicated to her role as a nurse, and she really takes it to heart. One day she had to leave for a family situation. Most people would take the whole day off, not Jasmine, she settled the matter and came back to finish her shift – Wow! That’s a great work ethic.
• Jasmine is so easy to work with. She is always pleasant and looks at us as a true team. When she is finished with meds or whatever she is doing, she always pitches in and helps pass trays without me even asking. She helps change incontinent patients. She will do whatever needs to be done.

From Jasmine’s Supervisors:
• Jasmine can be counted on to come in when we are short-staffed or someone calls out, even at 7, 8, and 9 months pregnant. If she has to call out, she will call and ask if there is a need later in the week. She is such a Team Player!
• I have seen Jasmine spend time with a difficult patient waiting for them to take their meds, “their way, in their time.” This one patient would holler for Jasmine. Sometimes that patient would want no one but Jasmine. Even if this patient was uncooperative, she would do things for Jasmine that she would never do for someone else. Jasmine just has a heart for people that they can easily recognize, and they can feel that she genuinely cares. Mental health is not always an easy nursing role.
