Rachel Gambill truly cares for her students and their learning. By ensuring that we have the best possible experiences and are encouraged to perform the work needed, Rachel has been the most critical part of my nursing experience as a student. She truly makes you feel like you are doing an amazing job while still teaching you through the process, never making you feel that you are not enough as a student. Rachel Gambill has taught me so much in such a short time in my clinical setting. She motivates me to go that extra mile for my patients. Her knowledge and the way she pushes us to our best, not only in the classroom, but in the actual clinical setting has taught me so much in a limited amount of time. She values everyone's opinion in the healthcare setting with a respectful manner and encourages every ounce of learning opportunities that we encounter. She goes out of her way to help not only her students, but also the other healthcare professionals that she comes in contact with. She has always instilled integrity and accountability in us to always do what is in the best interest of our patients no matter the outcome. If I can have half the compassion and nursing skills that she obtains, I will be a successful and efficient Nurse providing care for my patients.
