My mother-in-law was not familiar with English, but surprisingly, when Margaret came to see her, she greeted my mother-in-law in our own native language and also greeted her with an open smile, and it made my mom happy.
Margaret Ibrahim demonstrated the highest level of compassion to the patient at all times. My brother came in for surgery, his very first hospital experience, and Margaret was given his bed as her patient. Margaret introduced herself and immediately addressed how he was feeling, explained all his medications, explained the hospital care, and expressed concern for his safety. Then, she continued to be both emotionally and physically caring for his needs and comfort. Margaret was on schedule with medications, updates, and going over and above, making him feel extremely safe and comfortable. From the beginning to the end of her shift, Margaret demonstrated love for her patients and compassion for the family. I would like to say that Margaret, as a first responder nurse, exemplifies her supreme care and concern for everyone in her presence, colleagues, families, and patients. As a first experience in a hospital, Margaret made it the best experience yet. She is an outstanding asset to JFK without hesitation. Thank you, management, for employing your best asset first responder nurse.

Margaret is a cheerful-hearted nurse serving her patients with a smile on her face and love in her heart. My mother-in-law was admitted to JFK after she had some stomach illness. During her stay, Margaret was her nurse. My mother-in-law was not familiar with English, but surprisingly, when Margaret came to see her, she greeted my mother-in-law in our own native language and also greeted her with an open smile, and it made my mom happy. She took care of all her smallest discomforts to make her stay comfortable at the hospital. She would respond immediately when we would call her. We were really relaxed when she was in charge of our mom. Really appreciate her skills in learning different languages to help patients and families with better communication. Margaret kept this smile and lovely, cheerful, appreciative attitude forever. Thank you so much.
