My grandpa has been in and out of hospitals for the last three months following a house fire. For three months, there were ups and downs, despair and hope. We have been met with endless hospital staff members of varying care levels. Nobody came close to Dawn. She was warm, tender, and so kind to every one of us. Each time we visited our grandpa/father, she met us with a warm smile and kind eyes. In moments of utter pain, she was so accommodating and gave us the space to feel our feelings. While all of the staff at this hospital have been wonderful, Dawn has a special place in all of our hearts. We are so blessed that our grandpa/father spent his final days at this hospital, and we only wish we were able to cross paths sooner.

Dawn, thank you for choosing this profession and doing it with your whole heart. You have touched all of our lives and made this painful experience that much better. Thank you for everything. You are a blessing.
