I walked into labor and delivery to be induced. I was lucky enough to have Ashley as my nurse that morning. She came into the room with a smile on her face, greeting my husband and me. Ashley was very personable and helpful throughout the whole day. When delivering my son, he came out with the cord around his neck and was in distress. I could tell something was wrongly the way the doctor and nurses were acting. Ashley came to my bedside and explained everything they were doing. She was very comforting during a difficult time. He was then taken to the nursery to get better care. Ashley again came to the bedside to explain what was happening and what they were doing to help him. During this time, my husband and I were having a difficult time processing what was happening, and having Ashley there to comfort us was very reassuring. I could not have asked for a better nurse that day to help deliver our sweet baby boy and help me and my husband during a difficult time.

Our son was then transferred to Comers to get better care. When we were finally back home from Comers, I saw Ashley at Target. She greeted me with a smile and asked how our baby boy was. This was the best feeling, knowing that she remembered who I was and asked about my baby boy! She is truly one of the best nurses I have had, and I am so grateful she was my nurse that day! You can tell she is a dedicated and caring nurse who cares about her patients! Thank you, Ashley, for everything that day; you truly are an amazing nurse!
