I am writing this on behalf of a patient's family member. I received a call at work from a patient's family member. The family member started off by saying, 'I know y'all get calls all the time about nurses, but I have to tell you about the experience I had this past week.' The patient's family member went on to explain, 'I had come to pick up my uncle from Senior Care. My uncle cannot get around well, and I recently had a fall and am currently using a walker myself. Tim Irvin brought my uncle to the car and asked who was going to help get him in the house when we got home. I explained that we had a neighbor and some more family that was going to help with that. Tim said, "Well, I get a lunch break in a few minutes, and I can come to help y'all." I really appreciated him offering to help. He really went beyond his normal duties by offering. I really appreciate it, and I want him to know that.' I thanked the man for calling and letting us know what a kind act of service Tim provided.
