I came into the ED on Thursday with a complaint of chest pain. At some point, I was transferred to the Cath Lab where 2 stents were inserted. From there, I was transferred to PACU for recovery. My nurse was Kathy Ryan. I was extremely anxious when I got to PACU. Kathy went above and beyond to relieve my anxiety. I know I was not the easiest patient to care for, given my level of anxiety. Kathy was so caring and compassionate. It was difficult for me not to be able to get up and move around. The patience, understanding, and constant attention were amazing. Kathy made a huge impact on me as a patient. I always knew I was in the best of hands. I truly would like to thank Kathy for getting me through a very trying time.
