I attended the urology nurse’s department for six weeks. I want to nominate Lily for her compassion and professionalism. But more importantly, for her genuine interest in keeping with bladder incontinence.

During my weekly appointment, I explained how I had lost a lot of my quality of life due to my incontinence. On arriving for my appointment, Lily suggested using a sheath and a bag. I was reluctant because I was a bit down. Lily persisted and provided me with a few different options regarding different sheaths and bags.

This made all the difference to me. With each appointment, Lily had further advice. She remembered all previous conversations and always had great advice.

I don’t think Lily has any idea how grateful I am for how she made me feel during what could be embarrassing procedures. I’m sure this goes for all her other patients.

Although I want to express my thanks to the other urology nurses, Lily though her professionalism and care has made a huge difference to my quality of life. I can’t thank her enough.

Thank you to all the staff at St James and St Luke’s. But special thanks to the lovely nurse, Lily, for the outstanding service I received from that special person.
