I was pregnant with my 1st baby. Due to complications with blood pressure, I was induced at 36 weeks. During labor, I was given multiple rounds of medication to help lower it, and it was not going lower. Of course, this can be dangerous for mom and baby. I was stuck at 2-3 cm for quite some time. Abby walked in and said, “We are making some magic happen, and we are having this baby!” She reassured me that everything would be okay but was also realistic with me to where I felt so comfortable with her. She told me the risks, and we were going to try everything to have my baby vaginally, but there could be a possibility of a C-section. Abby then got me to progress to 7cm in just a few short hours! She continued to check on me and made sure I was comfortable. She made me feel like I was her top priority. I truly believe if it weren’t for Abby, I would’ve had a C-section. She was so knowledgeable, had a wonderful bedside manner, and got down to business! There are no words to describe my experience with her as a first-time mom. She is just incredible.
