Words seem inadequate to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care Sara provided during my labor and delivery. Sara was a literal angel on earth during my 21 hour labor. I had the privilege of having her as my overnight nurse during my labor and delivery. Together with her trainee, they made a dynamic duo that was instrumental in the amazing and positive birth experience I had. I had a rocky and high-risk pregnancy and saw many different nurses and providers throughout the 40 weeks as a patient of the UT MFM group, and I never experienced someone with such passion and pure joy for their profession. As a matter of fact, I've never seen anyone in my life with that attitude. She truly was meant to be a nurse, and she is the BEST nurse I've ever met. I can confidently say she is probably one of the top 3 nurses who work in that hospital. As I watch back the videos of my birth I'm not only moved by seeing my baby come into the world, but I'm moved by Sara and her trainee guiding me and supporting me throughout the entire time. I pushed for almost 2 hours, and they were truly amazing. They listened to all of my concerns and honored my requests, respecting all of my wishes. Sara was so caring and supportive I felt so safe and taken care of with no doubt that they had everything under control. Every nurse should learn from people like Sara because she embodies the meaning of what it takes to be an outstanding nurse. Her cheerful attitude, calm demeanor, gentle touch, and encouraging words helped ease my anxiety and made a challenging experience more manageable. I especially appreciated how she explained all procedures clearly, advocated for my needs, and offered emotional support throughout. These actions not only made a difference for me, but they also showcased her commitment to her patients, which goes above and beyond your typical role. She absolutely went above and beyond her role as a nurse, and her passion for her work is truly inspiring. She is truly a role model for others in the profession through her dedication, compassion, and skill. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Sara by my side during such a significant moment in my life.
