One day changed my life forever. My husband suffered a heart attack on our way to church. We went to the ER by car and were taken inside. I was in the waiting room when Jess came out and said I should call my family. Later, she took me to see my husband, R. I spoke to him, and then he was taken for a heart cath.

Jess explained everything that was taking place. She was so kind and had a lot of compassion for me. Later, they called for Life Flight, but later, it was stopped. Jess came out several times. We were hopeful. Later, Jess and Dr. Z talked to me, saying a lot of prayer was needed. Dr. Z explained what had happened and what he was able to do for R. I went to the chapel to pray. While there, Jess approached me and suggested I sit down. I was told, "he had passed." We were taken to the waiting area by the ICU to wait. Jess came in several times asking questions and preparing me to see R. She was so caring and went above and beyond for me. I was in shock, but understanding all of this, Jess was there for me, offering snacks and drinks and such. I refused, but to appease, I took a few sips of soda while waiting to see R. She was just so understanding and kind in a very bad situation! Being professional and a caring person at the same time. Thank you, Jess!
