I have known Annette for roughly five years. Starting when I was a NA, and now as a new RN. In the time I have known Annette, she has been the example of a nurse I always aspired to be. She contributes to a positive and enjoyable work environment, which seems to come naturally to her. Annette will always and has always, put patient safety first no matter what else happens in the shift, whether she is the patient’s primary nurse or not.

Annette is a beacon of knowledge that almost everyone can turn to for advice and guidance. Annette has not only been a cheerleader for me to better myself as a person but as a new nurse. I am forever grateful that our paths have crossed. Annette gives endless devotion to bedside nursing, her ability to make team members feel supported and respected, and her countless efforts to put patients first in every avenue. Thank you, Annette, for being my role model, whether you have known it or not, for the last five years and for the foreseeable future.
