Erin is one of the most exceptional nurses that I have ever worked with. She consistently provides outstanding care to patients, is incredibly intelligent, and is always there to lend a hand or help staff in any way. She exudes confidence, a calm demeanor, and total compassion and empathy in all that she does. Last week, I had a difficult patient who was early stroke alert. The department was busy and chaotic, and I needed help getting the patient to CT. This was of utmost importance because the patient was a likely TNK candidate. Erin just happened to be walking by the ambulance bay and asked if she could do anything to help me. I told her that I needed her to go to CT with me as the second nurse. She immediately got the tele neuro monitor and followed the patient to CT. She assisted me with the entire pre and post process of giving TNK. I was so grateful that she offered to help. Without Erin, this process would have been difficult, and the outcome would have been entirely suboptimal.

This is not the first time that Erin has been a total team player and patient advocate. Erin is an example of an outstanding nurse. I wish that there were more nurses like her. She is a total asset to Kaiser Roseville ED and a role model to emulate. I feel very fortunate to work with Erin. When we work together, I know that my day will be better. Thank you Erin, for making a difference for our patients and our staff. You are a shining star, and I am so grateful for you.
