Michael has provided kind, thoughtful care to my beloved friend during her ICU stay. His manner with her was gentle and made her feel at ease in a scary environment. The time he took to carefully take the mats from her hair and keep it untangled was above and beyond. So grateful he was with her. Additionally, he communicated beautifully with her family about her health and needs.

Michael was the kindest nurse to my aunt, who was extremely sick. As we moved her toward comfort care, he went above and beyond to make her feel cared for and special. He combed her hair gently and helped her feel human. He supported our entire family emotionally and helped soothe our fears about any discomfort she would have during her passing. He frequently checked to make sure we had everything we needed. He even took an extra shift to come to be her nurse again and promised to pick up more if he could be a constant for her. It was truly above and beyond. But all of these things can’t explain the depth of his kindness and healing presence. It was a balm for all of our wounded hearts. We will be forever grateful for him.
