Our son was born at 26 ½ weeks, and Regen was his first nighttime nurse. When we walked into the NICU that night we clicked with her right away. She told us that she loves her job and that she never had babies, so the NICU babies are her babies. Ever since that night, Regen was one of our son’s biggest supporters. Regen is one of the most kind-hearted, genuinely nice, caring people that you could ever meet. Always the happiest person and took a lot of pride being one of our son’s primary nurses, which we loved, and so did our son. With a strong focus on helping our boy, she went through good and bad with him, with a smile. She also always made it a priority to tell us how good she thought we were with our son, and how much she loves him, and how cute he is, and how good he was doing. The amount of excitement she showed every time she got to spend her shifts with our son is unforgettable. She took care of him like her own, and loved every second of it, and will always without a doubt be a part of our son’s life. She genuinely would do anything for our boy, and we knew that the whole time. Regen is a lifesaver, and we are beyond lucky to have her at the NICU with our son.
