Dr. Megan Hogue goes above and beyond to make sure her students succeed. She takes time to make class fun and truly shows that she cares for her students. One of the best professors ever.

Dr. Megan Hogue has always gone above and beyond for me and my cohort. She has been there not only as a professor and mentor but also as a human being who truly cares about us. Dr. Hogue has always made herself available for us when we need help and has always been the kind of professor that we can go to for help and support. I remember one specific time that I was in a mental health simulation, and the experience triggered an anxiety attack for me. Dr. Hogue took me out of the room, sat with me, calmed me, and hugged me. I will never forget that, as it was an extremely embarrassing moment in my life but she showed empathy and support. I could talk about other times when she showed this kind of caring towards me, too. She is truly an amazing mentor, professor, and nurse, and I feel that she deserves the DAISY Award.
