This gesture made my dad incredibly happy as he felt frustrated and helpless while in the hospital. Amy's efforts made him feel helpful and appreciated.
Amy showed a lot of care and thoughtfulness towards my dad, who is suffering from heart and kidney failure and had been given a prognosis of weeks to months. Amy took the time to talk with him and learn about his interests. During their conversation, my dad shared that he had been on the board of Hoffman Home for Youth for 37 years, and how this had helped many young people. Amy took the initiative to text her pastor, and together, they organized a motorcycle ride fundraiser for the Hoffman Home. This gesture made my dad incredibly happy as he felt frustrated and helpless while in the hospital. Amy's efforts made him feel helpful and appreciated.

In addition to this, Amy took other caring steps, such as making sure my dad was warm and comfortable. She explained to him why it was okay to take anti-anxiety medication and even brought him a different meal when he couldn't eat the first one. My dad hadn't eaten for a day, but he ate what Amy brought him. I am so grateful to Amy for her compassion and kindness towards my dad during such a difficult time. Thank you, Amy!
