Sinae Scott was my first nurse after delivering my baby. Of course, my husband and I were sleep-deprived and had no idea what we were doing.

Sinae took extra time to work with me on breastfeeding when I wasn’t feeding often enough and got the lactation nurse to come to check on the baby. She showed us tricks to get the baby more alert because she didn’t want to wake up and feed, and she finally got me both a breast pump and a hand pump (which I am obsessed with) to make sure I could express enough milk to keep my supply going.

Finally, Sinae came into the room and sat with us for at least an hour to teach my husband and me how to bottle-feed and burp the baby. This has been profoundly helpful for us at home and will be even more helpful once I go back to work.

Sinae excelled at providing education, and we felt valued when she spent so much time in our room helping us without us even having to ask. She provided remarkable patient-centered care, and we are so grateful for her.
