Patricia is the best nurse I have ever been blessed to witness in action. She cares deeply about the wellbeing of the patients she cares for. She is a strong advocate for patients when they cannot advocate for themselves. Patricia is a nurse at Integris Spencer Mental Health, and she works in the adult unit. The patients she cares for are typically unable to care for themselves or articulate what they need and often do not have anyone who can speak up for them. I have witnessed on several occasions Patricia push back and stand up for these patients and get them the care that they need and deserve. Patricia is very proficient and attentive. She catches things that most others would not even notice and makes quick and accurate decisions to better the outcomes of the patients she serves. Patricia is always calm and collected, even when things are tough. I have never witnessed anyone handle pressure and tense situations with as much patience and grace as she does. Patricia embodies everything Integris Health stands for, and we are truly lucky to have her.
