Spencer was professional, informative, and extremely punctual during critical pain management issues. Spencer was also able to connect to myself and my loved ones present on a personal level which took a lot of stress off myself and family.

Spencer would share stories of personal experiences and trials and tribulations on the topic of what my loved ones and I were speaking about. Being clearly engaged and genuinely interested in learning more about me and my life outside of the hospital made a lasting impression on me. 

Calming my nerves about multiple people unsuccessful attempts to insert a catheter, he then assured me he would be allowed/able to give me some pain medication prior to further attempts, he also made sure to repeat to me that everything is going to start feeling better soon. I know some of these answers seem as if Spencer is just “doing his job,” but being on level 2 for over a week, working with some of the other phenomenal nurses and staff, Spencer stood out and truly made my stay at this hospital exponentially better. He is an asset to this hospital, and I want nothing more than for his hard work and compassion to be acknowledged.
