There are more than a handful of stories to choose from when it comes to Colleen Frazier. She is continuously going above and beyond for her patients. She has started a bottle and can collection, which staff, including other disciplinary teams, contribute. The money she receives from this goes to patient medication co-pays for those who can’t afford it, home medication dispensers, and most recently, a rollator for a patient who truly needed one. Colleen noticed that a diabetic patient was frequently being admitted, and when asked why the patient was not utilizing their insulin, Colleen found out that the patient could not afford the co-pay. She used the money from the bottle collection and was able to pay for the patient’s co-pay, and the patient has not been readmitted to AGH since. This is just one of the many examples we have of Colleen and her dedication to her patients. Because of Colleen’s contributions to her patients, we are now in the process of expanding her bottle drive.
