Professor Fontaine always shows compassion for her students. She goes out of her way to check in on them.
Professor Fontaine has always offered help to students in her classes. She has a natural talent for teaching and caring for her students and patients. As my clinical instructor, she helped assure me that I would be able to get a clinical assignment done when I doubted myself and the time constraints.
Professor Fontaine truly exhibits what a great nurse should be. During my first term, I had a very difficult transition into nursing school and balancing the workload. One day I walked into her office to discuss testing and then she asked me about how I am doing. I immediately burst into tears and explained to her that I was struggling. For over an hour she talked to me and reassured me that I would be a great nurse, which meant so much to me in the moment. Not only did she reassure me in her office that day, but before every exam, she would always tell me and my cohort that we would do great. Now, being in my second semester, I don't see her as much. However, we cross paths from time to time, and she always makes the time to talk to me and my classmates. Nursing school is difficult, but having a mentor like Professor Fontaine makes the journey a little easier.

She is very professional in teaching nursing to help students grow into excellent nurses. I could feel how she loves her job very much and takes pride in it. She taught me how beautiful and professional the profession of a nurse is. She actively accepts students' opinions and understands their difficulties. I want to emulate her passion.
