More importantly, she got to know my dad as a person and treated him with the utmost respect and dignity, going above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and okay.
Traci was my father's nurse while in recovery from an angiogram and two stents. Throughout the day, she kept us all well informed about his recovery and tended to any need he had. She educated us on what he could and couldn't do and walked us through the folder of information. She also answered questions about the additional stents he will have done on Monday. My dad is 81, and my mom has Alzheimer's, and she could not have been more patient, reassuring, and nurturing. Her 12 hour shift was extended as my dad did not have a room. She stayed and was as upbeat and cheerful at night as she was throughout the day. She made him comfortable physically as well as mentally. One of the best nurses we have seen.

My father, 81 years old, was in the catheter recovery unit for almost 10 hours. He had an angiogram done and two stents put in. He is scheduled to have two more on Monday, and we hope Traci Morley is his nurse again. Traci was assigned to be his nurse, and we won the lottery with her. She is an exceptional nurse who continued to answer his and our questions all day long. She was funny, nurturing, knowledgeable, and professional. My mom has Alzheimer's, and she was so patient and kind with her when she visited, as well as the rest of us, who were pretty freaked out. Traci handled all tests and data with expertise.
More importantly, she got to know my dad as a person and treated him with the utmost respect and dignity, going above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and okay. Nothing was too much, and her cheerful personality remained even when she stayed beyond hours to ensure my dad was placed in a room, even though he was the only patient at that point. We knew he was in good hands, so we could leave to go eat, knowing she was there with him. She is a gem and one of the best nurses we have ever experienced. Thank you.
