I'm a PAA and I am lucky enough to work with Savannah every day. She demonstrates the Inova Values consistently and effortlessly.
Patient Always: her compassion and patience with each patient and their families go above and beyond; I have witnessed her consoling an emotional patient after an appointment, cutting into her lunch hour. She sat with her, made sure she had tissues and water and ensured she was ok to drive herself home. She connects with each patient with soft kindness and professionalism.
Our People: Savannah treats everyone with respect and I believe her contributions to our practice should be rewarded. She is working on completing her BSN and focused on her growth as an RN.
One Team: Savannah is the first one to offer answering patient calls when the Phone Room PAA's need clinical assistance, always willing to help us with anything we need with a smile and a "no problem". Although she works with one very busy doctor, she is always the first to offer help with ALL providers. To say she is a Team Player is an understatement. She never seems overwhelmed or stressed. She is very mild mannered and humble, never wanting attention on herself and demonstrates a calm that really helps put the patients at ease. Savannah is truly someone I look forward to seeing every day and lucky enough to work with. She is one the most kind people I have known, always asking how I am and just always showing a genuine interest. Everyone in our office feels the same way, and we express to each other how wonderful it is to work with such a competent and willing teammate. She always steps up to help when no one else does - consistently. It's very apparent that she loves what she does and was born to work in healthcare.
