Jon was the epitome of a perfect nurse. He cared for her with extreme compassion and empathy.
Jon was switched to my room and instantly made me feel like I was in good hands. He was extremely empathetic, knowledgeable, and personable, and ultimately completely helped my experience. He truly is an outstanding man and nurse, and I’m so thankful that he got switched on to my room when I needed it most. If Jon gets to read this at all, Thank You; you took the worst and most traumatic experience in my life and made it have some good in it. I am truly thankful that you were my nurse until moving upstairs. Jon, keep being a great nurse.

My friend was in the ED twice over the course of two days and had several nurses in the ED. Jon was her last nurse before being admitted, and he truly was remarkable. Jon was the epitome of a perfect nurse. He cared for her with extreme compassion and empathy. The very first time after he introduced himself to us and left the room, she looked at me and said, “He made me feel warm and welcome.” Even after being admitted to the floor, she talked about him and how he made her feel like she was in good hands and how he truly changed her experience. He was kind, compassionate, thorough in his skills, and attentive and emphatic to her situation. I, as a visitor, also felt cared for. I am pregnant and he showed concern and care for me also, encouraging me to get rest and continually asking if I needed anything (water, food, etc.) Jon truly went above and beyond. He brought some good to a very traumatic time in the patient’s life.
