Rachael always shows amazing people skills and great problem-solving abilities.
Rachael compassionately cared for my father, who was hospitalized for two weeks for a small bowel obstruction. He had felt discouraged and scared, but Rachael was a good listener and gave him hope. When he asked a question, she would really listen to the "why" behind the question and give him reassurance and peace. Her words and her listening skills were why I think Rachael was extra special.
***
Rachael was so attentive and helpful during my stay in the hospital. She answered all the questions I had and was very reassuring before my surgery. She helped me feel less nervous going into my procedure and was so encouraging throughout my recovery. Rachael went above and beyond!
***
D was recovering from gallbladder surgery. Rachael was the best, supporting her, caring for all her needs, and connecting with her feelings. When we finally were ready to leave, it was late on Sunday. Rachel helped us find an open pharmacy. She called the pharmacist, explained the situation, and sent a new prescription to the pharmacy. This was totally beyond her duties and made her stay a couple of hours after her shift.
***
Rachael was very patient and kind with the patient. She held her composure through the confusion and yelling. Rachael always shows amazing people skills and great problem-solving abilities.
***
Rachael is an extraordinary nurse from the moment I met her.
***
She is always smiling, which makes me feel happy. She cared for me with such compassion, and I felt loved when she was around.
