As OACN Budget Officer, she introduced fresh and impactful ideas that led OACN to persistently make a difference and achieve greater heights.
With her utmost desire to recognize internationally the Nurses who provided compassionate care in Philippine Army Nursing Service, MAJ DARADAL initiated a communication with DAISY Foundation. In 2018, Mark and Bonnie Barnes came all the way from USA to personally witnessed the launching of DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in the Philippine Army Nursing Service. Since then the PANS is provided with free sponsorship by DAISY Foundation that help saved the OACN or the PA almost PHp 400,000.00 worth of DAISY Statues and Pins and other scholarship and benefits. Additionally, she was able to secure funding of PhP 499,500.00 for the first International Nurses’ Week celebration CY 2023 enjoyed by all military treatment facilities of the Philippine Army nationwide. Her initiatives inspired nurses and touched many lives of patients within the Philippine Army. As of today, 29 Nurses have been awarded, and a hundred were nominated, with many more aspiring to be one. As OACN Budget Officer, she introduced fresh and impactful ideas that led OACN to persistently make a difference and achieve greater heights.
