This week had been so difficult for me with my bleeding issues, and I was highly embarrassed to have people keep pushing me short distances in a wheelchair and also having to submit to having my sheets & bedding changed so often, but a woman named Ann Martin was so gentle and kind. After finding out why some points of touch scared me, she became even more compassionate, treating me like a person versus being treated as an overfill number at the previous hospital just days before all this. Ann had a disgusting job, but never once came off in a negative way on me, even though I would not have blamed her if she did get irritated with the amount of mess my body left for her. You can usually tell who sees healthcare or just another job or if they are truly there for the patient. Ann was, the package deal, to where I felt like I had won the lottery by getting her! She is fantastic & deserves any reward you guys can give her. Thank you to all the staff who helped me stand, get crackers when I was nauseous, and so much more. This was a rock-star team, and I feel that I learned a lot from Ann.
