I am a brand new nurse, and Koryn has been so kind to me on our floor. It was only my third day, and I wasn't on the schedule to be paired up with a nurse. Koryn took me by the hand and led me to our station. Throughout the day, she taught me, encouraged me, and let me do many things by myself to build confidence. She is helping me see the joy in nursing, when so many other nurses emphasize the hardships. I finally am starting to feel like a real nurse, and she is helping me every step of the way! I could never say enough good things about her and want her to get all the recognition in the world.

Her actions help me feel confident in myself as I move towards doing things by myself as a new nurse. She is always there to answer my questions and never makes me feel dumb. And her fun personality makes the long shifts fly by. I am just so grateful for her!
