I have cancer and have been in and out of the hospital many times over the last two years, and Kayla is the best nurse I have ever had. She is always friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, and kind when she comes to do my home health visits. On several occasions, she has gone the extra mile to call me and check in after I have had ER, doctor, or infusion appointments to make sure I am doing well.

One special event happened when I was not feeling well, and I called her and asked her to come to do a check-up on me. During that visit, she made calls to my doctor and helped me figure out I needed to go to the ER and called to let them know I was going in for the ER visit. She also helped in talking with my PCP for follow-up during a time when I was feeling miserable and not able to make calls myself, but I was not bad enough to go through 911 into the ER. She is an outstanding nurse, a role model, and an example of what all nurses should be.
