We were made aware that bath attendants leave at 10 o’clock, so we feared she would not get one. Ellen assured us that she would get one, even if she had to do it herself.
My grandmother fell and was in awful shape: brain bleed, multiple fractures, UTI, pneumonia, and more. She was confused for several days, and our family didn’t know what to expect. Ellen gave us comfort. She started her shift and immediately checked on her multiple times. From previous experiences, you only see a nurse if you page them, or they need to do something, or they need to provide medication. Not Ellen. She was in and out just to check on her.

My grandma was not able to eat or drink and had to take rejection medication due to her liver transplant, and it could not be crushed. The night before, the nurse could not give it to her. Ellen took it upon herself to contact the pharmacy and the doctor to try to find an alternative medication. Within no time, she had the rejection medication coming through an IV.

We had requested a bath for my grandma around 9 o’clock. We were made aware that bath attendants leave at 10 o’clock, so we feared she would not get one. Ellen assured us that she would get one, even if she had to do it herself.

These are just some examples of how she cared for my grandmother. She is a treasure to your company and your team, as well as to present and future patients. I just hope you value her as much as we do!
