I watched Ally collaborate tirelessly with multiple teams to create a successful discharge plan while at the same time tending to all her various patient needs, as well as helping others.
After being in the hospital for 25 days, my nurse Ally has shown great determination toward me.  She always arrives and leaves my room with a big smile which makes me happy.  She is so kind; she explains the doctor's recommendations so that I can understand.  I was planning to be discharged, but Ally saw a change in me and notified the doctor that I needed to stay longer to run the test.  I really wanted to go home, but I understood that I needed to stay, and she explained that.

Thanks for recognizing that I needed to stay longer. Otherwise, there’s a possibility that I would have been back in the hospital.

Thank you, Ally, for all you have done!

I would like to recognize Ally for the extraordinary care she displayed while caring for a heart failure patient who decided to go home to hospice.  I watched Ally collaborate tirelessly with multiple teams to create a successful discharge plan while at the same time tending to all her various patient needs, as well as helping others.  She stayed late that night to help and then returned early to keep working on the discharge.  The family was demanding, anxious, and sometimes rude.  They could see how hard Ally was fighting for their loved one. Ally never let that deter her.  She always showed kindness and generosity in spirit.

Upon discharge, there were issues with transportation. Ally was able to obtain an Uber ride for the wife, as she did not have a vehicle. The patient was teary when he realized what Ally had done.

I want to thank you, Ally, for caring for patients the way it truly should be done.
