Dreama’s unwavering dedication and exceptional care have not only profoundly impacted my health and well-being but have also touched my heart in the most indelible way.
I am a patient of Dreama Szutenbach with ChristianaCare HomeHealth. I have campomelic dysplasia, which is one of the rarest forms of dwarfism, and some other medical conditions. Dreama has been my nurse for over 11 years of my life. Dreama shows and gives exceptional patient care and goes above and beyond her job duties as a nurse. She shows love, compassion, and leadership.
Over the years and beyond, Dreama has picked up some of my extra open shifts, both during the day and sometimes during the night, to make sure I got the care I needed, especially during the day to make sure I was able to go to work and my doctors' appointments. When I was in the process of moving into my apartment, Dreama helped me pack and made sure the boxes were labeled so that it was easy to find things when needed and when it came to unpacking and putting things in place. Everything was organized and easy to access. With Dreama's help, my apartment was put together in less than a week.
Also, when I was in the process of getting my trach out, from start to finish, Dreama provided me with support and encouragement during the process and even while I was in the hospital. I was able to call her by phone when I was feeling anxious. After I got discharged from the hospital, Dreama supported me during all the follow-up appointments, making sure my doctors considered my requests when it came to making my medical decisions and always supported me in whichever decision I chose.
