I am eternally grateful for Jenna, and I do not even think she realizes the impact that she had or the extent of the heartbreak I was suffering during the worst time of my life.
I found myself in a stressful situation with my dad’s wife, who was not taking into account my dad’s final wishes. Her only concern was doing things her way. With the guidance of the hospice nurse, I requested assistance from a social worker or palliative care doctor. While Jenna helped keep my dad comfortable during his stay in the ICU, she also took the initiative when she understood my concerns. Jenna quickly sought out the physician, knowing that she would be the best person to assist us with our situation.

The doctor helped facilitate a productive conversation. She answered all of my questions while helping my dad express his wishes clearly by asking non-leading questions. As a result, my dad is now finishing his time at home with his family and dog, as he wished. My dad is my best friend, and not only did she help him, but I am now able to live with myself, knowing that we did everything possible to fulfill his dying wish. I would not have been able to live with myself knowing I did not do everything I could to help him. I am eternally grateful for Jenna, and I do not even think she realizes the impact that she had or the extent of the heartbreak I was suffering during the worst time of my life. I will never forget Jenna’s kindness, advocacy, and assistance in managing a very challenging situation.
