Being a first time Mom and having twins in the NICU has been very overwhelming. Everyone here at Magee is above and beyond! From housekeeping to nurses to physicians - I couldn't be more grateful! One nurse, in particular, holds a special place in my heart. Kristen went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of and was on top of my care. She was also very busy as the unit was full but still had upbeat energy and compassion, and gave me positive comfort when I needed it most, being postpartum. In these few days, I feel we made such a connection, and I will never forget how she made me feel and made my experience so good. She is an outstanding nurse and deserves this recognition. 

I want you to know you should be very proud of the staff you have at Magee! I know as a patient and new Mom I will be forever grateful for Magee Women's Hospital for taking such good care of me and my preterm twins! There is not better place to be!
